April in Tennessee
We’re officially in a new month and things are in full bloom here in TN! And also, in full tornado season. Yikes! This is quite a new thing for this Utah gal. I spent Thursday from about 3 am to 4:30 am in a closet waiting for the roof to disappear. But alas, all was well. We’ll see how tonight goes… gulp.
If we survive this weekend’s storms, we’ve got lots of fun happening here in Tennessee all month long! Sharing some of my favorite that you can find me at below.
Nashville April Events
Lucky Ladd Tulip Festival -Ends approx. April 13th
The most amazing local farm with fresh pick-yourself-tulips! Spend the day choosing the best tulips for yourself to display on these perfect spring days! Also fun for dogs and the family with lots of activities as well as a petting zoo! It’s a perfect activity for the whole family.
Kane Brown Concert - April 11th
Always concert ready here in Nashville, Kane Brown is hitting the stage and this is a must see concert! Concerts are extra fun here in Nashville as you never know who might show up on stage. I can only imagine he’s got a few friends that will stop by!
Franklin Farmers Market - Every Saturday!
Although this happens all year long, I think April is when it really starts to get good! All the fresh blossoms and produce are ready to go and you really start so see some amazing options. I personally love the fresh flowers, homemade jams, and the fresh fish from Florida! You can’t get much better than that!
Megan Moroney - April 9th & 10th
Another great concert coming up this month is Megan Moroney. This newcomer has hit the stage and become a top artist quickly. I saw her open for Kenny Chesney last year and she definitely was a crowd pleaser! This is a fun one you won’t want to miss!
East Nashville Beer Fest - April 12th
The East Nash Beer Fest brings together over 1,000 craft beers right here in TN! While this is already enough to get you there, it also benefits local charities so it’s a win-win!
Garden Festival and Plant Sale - April 5th
The festival and plant sale boasts flowers, vegetables, herbs, and even goods for your garden! Swing by and get your spring garden started and support the fundraiser!
S.E. Daugherty and Sons
Another tulip festival, this is a little closer to Nashville in Bellevue and has free admission. While tulip season is winding down for them, Strawberry picking season is picking up and will be starting in mid April! Check their website for updates and what you can go and pick! It’s another great family friendly day!
